Project Summary

The CNC Plasma Cutter project is an ongoing effort to develop a modular plasma cutting system that can be easily assembled using standard 4020 aluminum extrusion and commercially available components. The goal is to create a reliable, cost-effective platform that is straightforward to build while providing comprehensive documentation to simplify assembly and commissioning. Current development focuses on completing the mechanical CAD model, electrical wiring diagrams, and control system architecture. Safety remains a primary design objective, with continuous improvements being made to the mechanical, electrical, and control systems to help users safely construct and operate their own version of the machine.
